I’m an award-winning filmmaker with 5 years of professional experience as a director, producer, cameraman, and editor in film and TV. Over time, I developed a passion for storytelling and chose to specialise in video post-production, where I bring projects to life with my creativity, attention to detail, and a cinematic eye. Since relocating from England to Vancouver, Canada, I’ve embraced freelancing to broaden my creative scope, collaborate with diverse artists, and explore new storytelling mediums.
About Me
The Game Fishers Diary
I led end-to-end production on multiple episodes of the established documentary series The Game Fishers Diary. Set in the hills of Wales, this episode explored medieval history, notable local figures, environmental politics, wildlife, and fishing culture. Researching and weaving these elements into a cohesive narrative was a valuable exercise in creative storytelling, editorial judgment, and journalistic practice.
REDK Live Podcast
REDK Live is a monthly corporate podcast featuring interviews with leading figures in the AI industry, exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming businesses. As the editor, my job was to distill hours of in-depth conversations into cohesive, energetic episodes that not only highlight key insights but also effectively showcase the company’s products.
Reservoir Masterclass
Reservoir Masterclass is an original series I created for my long-term client FishingTV, offering an in-depth, technical exploration of fly fishing for trout in UK reservoirs. Each episode is hosted by myself alongside a different elite angler, breaking down advanced techniques and tactics. I led the project end-to-end as creator, director, producer, host, camera operator, and editor. This series was a formative step in my development as a filmmaker, combining storytelling, technical production, and on-screen presentation.
The Swinging Life of Rochdale
This investigative student documentary won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Documentary. Filmed in Manchester, the project focused on challenging stigma around an adult community frequently misrepresented by local media. After embedding myself within the group over a six-month period, the film developed into a sensitive and human portrait of friendship, pride, and community.
